Report: how to fund public interest work around AI in Europe?

We are happy to share the publication of our first research report on “How to Fund public interest work around AI in Europe?”. You can read the full report here.

Eighteen months into the inception of this fund, we are taking stock of our strategy. In a fast-changing AI policy environment, this report forms a crucial part of our own reflection on how to best support civil society within the AI ecosystem. We were very happy to work with Fieke Jansen, Julia Reinhardt, and Susan Morgan, who jointly authored this report based on extensive consultations with civil society, AI and policy practitioners, as well as US and European funders.
